Trace requirements:
In simple words, trace requirements are the process of maintain the links between an individual requirements and other elements. It includes backward traceability as well as forward traceability.
Purpose:
The main purpose of trace requirements is that necessities and designs at different stages are aligned from one to another and manage the outcomes of alternative to one stage to another.
Maintain requirements:
Maintain requirement is essential in requirements life cycle management. It is a business analyst role to maximize the benefits of this task that requirements remain valid over time.

The main task of these requirements is that requirements are valid for reusing before they can be accepted into a change.
Prioritize requirements:
It is a process of priority such as gives ordering to the requirements then more focus on the most important stakeholders first and less focus on the less important stakeholders.

task of prioritize requirements is to give order of
relative importance as a
rank of more or less important elements.

Approve requirements:
It is a process of approval information on requirements, designs or elements and this approvement can be formal or informal.

It works like
give the approvement of requirements and its main focus on approval.

ReplyDeleteI want to talk more about approve requirement. For example, what are the techniques used for this requirement and their effects. The business analysis used acceptance and evaluation criteria which help to define approval criteria. For resolving issues and gain agreements they used decision analysis technique. They have a review technique used to evaluate requirements and workshops to facilitate obtained approval. So, i think by using these techniques they can develop their business at highest level even they are using some of other techniques also to improve their business.
As my team mates define about the maintain requirements but I want to write about he maintain attributes. Maintain requirements and the maintain attributes are vice versa. During choosing the requirements an analyst also choosing the attributes of the management. There are some attributes such as: source, priority ad the complexity that helps to manage the requirements life cycle. Attributes helps to change those factors which the requirements don't.
