v Plan Business Analysis Approach:
Purpose: its purpose is to define an appropriate
method to conduct business analysis activities.
Description: The business analysts identify an initial
set of techniques to use. The business analysts approach describes how and when
tasks will be performed and what will be the results or output. It can be
defined by methodology or organizational standard. It has a different kind of
elements. The business analysis approach should:
• align to the overall goals of the change
• coordinate the business analysis tasks with the
activities and deliverable of the overall change
• include tasks
to manage any risks that could reduce the quality of business analysis
deliverable or impede task efficiency, and • leverage approaches and select
techniques and tools that have historically worked well.
It uses various techniques, guideline and tools. For
example: Business Analysis Performance Assessment, Business Policies, Expert
Judgment, Methodologies and Frameworks. Techniques: Brainstorming, Business
Cases, Estimation and interviews.
v Plan Stakeholder Engagement
Purpose: the purpose of plan stakeholder’s engagement
is to plan and approach for maintaining better working relationship with
stakeholders.
Description: it is used to identify all the
involved stakeholders and analyse their characteristics. The results of the
analysis are then utilized to define the best collaboration and communication
approaches for the initiative and to appropriately plan for stakeholder risks.
In input they find different needs and business
analysis approaches. After that they are working on it with the help of the
plan stakeholder’s engagement process which give some output and better results
for the growth of the business.
v Plan Business Analysis Governance
Purpose: its major purpose is to define how decisions
are made for requirements and designs, change controls and approvals.
Description: business analysis ensure that the
governance process is in place. This process mainly identifies the decision
maker. When
planning the governance approach, business analysts identify:
• how business analysis work will be approached and
prioritized
• what the
process for proposing a change to business analysis information is
• who has the
authority and responsibility to propose changes and who should be involved in
the change discussions
• who has
responsibility for analyzing change requests
• who has the
authority to approve changes
• how changes
will be documented and communicated
To make this process effective and successful they
used various techniques:

v Plan Business Analysis Information
Management
Purpose: the main purpose of plan business analysis
information management is to how they can collect information and used it for
their business or how they can access.
Description: there are some features that information
management identifies:
How information
should be organized, the level of detail at which information should be
captured, any relationships between the
information, how information may be used
across multiple initiatives and throughout the enterprise, how information should be accessed and
stored, and characteristics about the
information that must be maintained.
Information management also help to ensure that
business analysts’ information is organized in functional and useful manners
and is easily to appropriate personal.
According to my prospective and research this process
give input of business analysis approach, stakeholders engagement approach and
governance approach and after going into process with few guideline and tools
also by using some techniques it gives an output of business analysis
information management.
v Identify Business Analysis Performance
Improvements
Purpose and description: To assess business analysis
work and to plan to improve processes where required is a purpose of
performance improvements. In description to present better or to improve
performance, it is necessary to establish different performance measures,
conduct survey based on different performance and analyse them and identify any
essential prevention or developmental actions.
In input the objective performance(externally) is a
main part to describe the desired performance outcomes that an organization is
hoping to achieve because this feature will help to give unique and effective
improvement by giving some output. For
this process only one guideline and tool is used to perform and that is
organizational performance standard.
As my team member defined plan business analysis approach and I want to talk also about it. The main purpose of plan business analysis approach is set out the business analysis involvement for the work concerned to set expectations to feed into a wider plan and gain agreement on the deliverables. Business analysis approach includes methodology, deliverables, activities, involvement and plan of work. This approach can be standardized or formalized. Due to the project planning phase, the standards and approach can be developed.

ReplyDeleteThe information driven by the business analysis can be stored according to the accessibility of the information. Accessibility depends on the factors that how often the information is used and viewed by other people. Other factors that influences the storage and access are organizational standards and tools. It is the responsibility of the analyst to determine which type of the tools should be used in the initial stage and how to store data within that tool. Selection of the tools may be depend on the size of the information, techniques etc.

ReplyDeleteThis process involves managing stakeholder expectation which influence throughout the lifecycle of the project. It provide a perfect plan to interact effectively with stakeholder and support project interest.this plan descrive the process which csn be applied st each stage of the project contains the description of how work will be executed, planning and execution of human resources, change management procedure.it whole process increases the efficiency of work at different stage time to time.
